All participants need access to an internet-enabled device: computer/laptop, tablet, phone. Particpants must be 13 at the start of the program for privacy purposes per the Children's Online Privacy Protection Rule, 16 C.F.R. §312 (2022). Protection of data for youth under the age of 13 includes specific requirements for operators of commercial websites and online services of which the Brite Program and Platform has not been designed for.
